Kala koyu
I am Kala, mother of two children who study in Shikhar School in grade 3 and KG I. I agreed to volunteer for a Read Aloud Session for the Literacy Week as this was one opportunity for me to engage with and contribute to the school. I chose my childrens’ favorite book “Picnic” by MilSaKai. At first, I was a bit anxious on how the children would react to my reading for them but they liked the book; they were attracted to the pictures and the characters, it became easy to go along with them and finish the session withoud difficulty.
Thank you Shikhar School for organizing such Parents-school collaborative activity. This obviously makes both the parties accountable to each other and contribute to our childrens’ learning.
